Big Group Hug is a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organisation based in Bundoora. They work with local communities to respond to the immediate material needs of vulnerable and disadvantaged children and their families.
They have a strong belief in ensuring that all children deserve the best start in life, and that communities have the ability and a desire to give less fortunate families a big group hug and some practical support in their time of need.
Help us help kids!
In the lead up to Christmas, we’re collecting essential items to help kids and their families throughout Melbourne. All items will be delivered to Big Group Hug who work with Maternal and Child Health Workers and other community welfareagencies to distribute the items to those who need it most.
How to be involved:

- Add items to our collection in the foyer
- or, create your own box at home then bring it to Ruccis so we can deliver it to BGH.
Collection closes Wed 11 Dec, so Big Group Hug can distribute the items before Christmas.
