Spend some time in the idiot world of clown and physical comedy with one of Australia’s award winning comedic performers and teachers, Clare Bartholomew.

This workshop is for young performers wanting to have fun and be playful and explore their inner stupidity outwardly! You don’t need to have a history with clown, just be prepared to be silly, take risks and have some serious fun.

Childish, ridiculous, tragic, naughty, naive, sometimes angry, yet forever optimistic, clowns long for their chance to be in the spotlight and ultimately ‘save the show!’

We will focus on:

  • Your solo presence
  • Practicing the joy of being ‘seen’ by the audience
  • Ensemble playfulness and small provocations for duos, trios and more
  • Exploration of classic physical comedy scenarios, improvisations, games, exercises

Date:
Saturday 11 July (next week!)

Times:
Kids (8-15yrs): 10am – 1pm
Teen & Adult (13+): 2pm – 5pm

Price: $40
